Description
Short: SEV1 is a goofy office RPG and turn-based tactics game. By day, you manage a support team that is barely keeping up. By night, your night shift slips through the server room into the Cloud, a whole world where software becomes forests, villages and very bad bugs.
You're the new Manager of the Support team at Lucidity Systems, a big software company. Dayshift is the office: hand out cases, keep your people busy, fix the coffee machine and steer around Chad from Sales. When a real outage hits, the alarm goes off and the outage call becomes a pinball machine, with your engineers on the call.
Nightshift is the Cloud. After hours, the night crew goes through a crack in the server room into a world built out of software. They explore its roads and villages, help the people who live there and fight turn-based tactical battles, and they have to be home before Dayshift arrives in the morning.
The two shifts depend on each other. What the night crew finds helps the day team close real cases; what the day team earns pays for the night crew's gear.
